4th Festival of Travellers, “Three Elements” (Trzy żywioły) 30 March - 1 April
The annual Festival of Travellers will open the traditional night-time film marathon. From 7 pm to the morning, the most fascinating travel films will be on show, including The Method for Africa (Sposób na Afrykę) by the well-known traveller and journalist, Ryszard Czajkowski. Saturday will be a day of meetings with the famous travellers. Jarek Kret will take us to the Holy Land, and the crew of the “Stary" yacht will present a report from the so-called Northern Passage to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the famous exhibition by Amundsen. Martyna Wojciechowska will speak about behind the scene activities of the trip to Mount Everest. The last day of the festival is April 1st, which will be dedicated to the humourous side of travel. Apart from meetings and shows, several exhibitions of photography and talks with travellers will be available during the festival.
