October concerts in Kraków Philharmonic

7, 8 October 6pm: concert – seminar of musicians of the Internationnale Bachakademie of Stuttgart under the direction of Helmut Rilling (see Kraków Music Academy).

5, 6 October 6pm: Keyboard Instruments Made Easy, concerts in a series, Musica – Ars Amanda with the participation of soloists Andrzej Zawisza (harpsichord), Julia Kociuban (piano) and Arkadiusz Bialic (organs). The programme includes compositions of the French harpsichord players, Chopin and Bach.


6 October 11am and 1pm/7 October, 12pm: At the Sorcerer’s Castle, concerts for children.


11 October 7.30pm: An Evening at Wawel, concert of Harmonologia ensemble from Wrocław. The programme includes compositions by G.F. Händel.
Concert in the Senator Hall.

13, 14 October 7pm: symphony concert of the Orchestra of the Kraków Philharmonic under the direction of Modestas Pitrenas of Lithuania and with the participation of soloist Rafał Łuszczewski (piano). The programme includes A. Skriabin and S. Prokofiev.


18 October 7.30pm: university concert of Trio Resonanz of Vienna. Foreword: Prof. Andrzej Zoll. The programme includes compositions of W.A. Mozart, R. Schumann and M. Bruch.


20, 21 October 7pm: symphony concert of the Orchestra of the Kraków Philharmonic under the direction of Antoni Wicherek and soloists Kaja Danczowska (violin), Wiesław Kwaśny (viola). The programme includes R. Wagner and M. Bruch.


25 October 6pm: Artists for the Kraków Philharmonic – Trio BLUette. The programme includes compositions by M. Glinka and J. Brahms.

Concerts in a series “Organ Days”
26 October 7.30pm: concert of Slava Chevliakov from Russia.
Tickets PLN 12/20. The concert will take place in St Mary’s Basilica.

27 October 7pm: concert of Andrzej Białko and the Chamber Orchestra of the Music Academy under the direction of Paweł Przyłocki. The programme includes compositions by G.F. Händel, J.G. Rheinberger and F. Schubert.

28 October 6pm: concert of the Orchestra and Choir of the Karol Szymanowski Philharmonic in Kraków under the direction of Jerzy Maksymiuk and with the participation of soloists Agnieszka Wolska (soprano), Katarzyna Suska (mezzosoprano), Tomasz Krzysica (tenor) and Jarosław Bręk (bass). The programme includes compositions by W.A. Mozart.
